The Plate Carrier 8944-1 is constructed from strong and durable nylon, making it a reliable choice for tactical use. It features a waistcoat design and comes equipped with multiple pouches for holding up to 5 magazines and 3 grenades for an M203 or GP-25 grenade launcher. To allow for easy and rapid removal, the waistcoat is equipped with ROC type fasteners on the shoulders and cummerbands. The sides of the waistcoat also include internal pockets for additional storage and a Velcro panel on the front for attaching patches or insignia.
